Oil PSUs and Gov. hand in glove

It has been a story of a country being held at ransom by the oil PSU's and truckers. The media is happy in covering the story and keeping the general public aware, but are they going to investigate as to what has really been the reason for oil shortage across the country. First the truckers go on strike, and asks for Rs.10 reduction on diesel. oil minister talks of reduction but the government is not ready for the terms. By now the whole stock of oil has been emptied, now even if the oil prices are coming down it won't be helping the general public. All the Oil PSU's have ensured that the price effect will only be coming into force once the new stock comes in. Now who was holding the country at ransom, was it the Oil PSU's, was it the truckers or the Government. I think this question will go unanswered.

Metro Man on Hyd Metro

The fall was quite evident. When Maytas Infra had won Hyderabad metro, Mr Sreedharan had a lot of reservations on the deal. In fact he had raised the question then, long before the satyam saga unfolded. Please see the link below.

Now we also have to see as to what happens to the comments given by Adhara government at the time of giving the bid to Maytas. It has already distanced itself from satyam, indeed you can never trust the politicians, they can swing in any way to save their skin.
